Judson G. George

Judson G. George, age 62, of Knoxville passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2017. Judson was born January 11, 1955 to Bill and Phyllis George. He graduated in 1977 from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. He was the owner of George’s Building Supply from 1984-1999, and worked for Schaad, Witt and 84 Lumber. Judson is preceded in death by his father, Bill Gene George. He is survived by his mother Phyllis George; daughter Ali Gibson (Brandon); son Lawson George (Katie); grandchildren Carson and Peyton Gibson, Emma and Carter George; sister Julia Cox (Danny); brother Kendall George (Tammy); sister Rena Beeler (Gary); nephews and nieces, Creed and Jordan Cox, Morgan Myers, and Christopher, Garrett, Caroline and Laura Beeler. The family will receive friends Monday, September 4, 2017 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet for a graveside service on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 2:00pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
