Judith Diane Yarbrough

Judith Diane Yarbrough, age 68, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. She was an artist and won an award at The Dogwood Arts Festival. She was a member of Glory Church @ Dante. Judy was an avid gardener and spent a great deal of time with her family, planting and caring for her vegetable and flower gardens. She loved the water and taught her children and grandchildren how to swim. In the span of her life, she had and cared for many different animals, ranging from her Tennessee Walking horses, to the cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, sugar gliders and a couple of rescued squirrels named “Fred”. She got great joy from being with her family and friends, and valued the quality time she spent with them. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Jones, her mother, Lovetta Jones and father-in-law, Oscar Yarbrough. She is survived by her husband, Shannon Yarbrough; children, Tabitha McCarter (Jeff), Jeremy Heinz (Melody), Candice Heinz and Brandon Yarbrough (Sam); her mother-in-law, Alta Yarbrough and step-mother, Joyce Jones; sisters Angela Harvey (Gary), Susie Treece (Gary) and Sandy Rayfield (Benny); and brother-in-laws, Brian Yarbrough (Sharon) and Kevin Yarbrough (Jenel); grandchildren: Eli, Makynli, Eralynn, Abby, Kainen, Ruby, Eliana, Joshua, Talon and upcoming baby Yarbrough; as well as many nieces and nephews; and was loved by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Support Community with Tennessee Cancer Specialists of Powell.

The family will have a private grave-side ceremony.
