Juanita Wolfenbarger Kitts, age 87, was called to her Heavenly home April 28, 2015. She was a member of Warwick’s Chapel Baptist Church and was retired from Standard Knitting Mill. Juanita was also an avid basketball fan. She will be remembered as a good wife, a loving mother and friend, and a special grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband Ray Kitts, infant daughter Cynthia Georgetta Kitts, parents Herbert and Mae Wolfenbarger, and brothers Charles and Floyd Wolfenbarger. Survivors include daughters Dewilda Harless and husband Tom, and Mary Ingram and husband Stan, grandson Brandt Weaver, and great granddaughter Loftyn Weaver, step-granddaughter Dawn Adams, step-greatgrandson Ian Adams, sisters Sallie Ruth and Linda Damewood and her husband Carl, sisters-in-law Helen Wolfenbarger and Melba Lawson, special cousin Maybel Barnard, special friends Faye and Howard Beeler, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Kitts’s children would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Joe Minardo, Physicians Regional Medical Center and Holston Rehab Center for the exceptional care given to their mother, as well as a special thank you to nephew Phil Ruth. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Ray Hedrick officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Saturday at Dyer Cemetery for interment at 11 AM.
