Juanita Irene Smith

Juanita Irene Lacey Smith, age 84 of Knoxville, went to be with the lord on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was a lifelong member of Lynnwood United Methodist Church and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time watching the flowers grow. She is preceded in death by her parents; Vincent and Hester Lacey, and her daughter; Deborah Ann Woods Taylor, her sons; Roy Elbert Smith Jr. and Randall Eugene Smith Sr., and her brother; Vincent Lacey Theodore Jr. She is survived by her husband of 63 years; Roy Elbert Smith Sr., daughter; Ginger Longley, 10 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Lynnwood United Methodist Church, with a 7:00pm service will follow, with Rev. Rick Carnes officiating. Family and friends will then meet on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 10:00am at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel to go in procession to Bookwalter Cemetery for a 10:30am graveside service.
