J.P. Wilson

J.P. Wilson- age 87, of Powell, passed away Tuesday December 31, 2013. Member of First Baptist Church of Powell. Preceded in death by parents, Elsie and Paris Wilson; sister, Betty Weaver; brother, Everett and wife Cora Lee. Survived by wife of 65 years, Reba Stooksbury Wilson; son, Jack Wilson; daughter, Brenda Collins and husband Larry; grandson, Travis Collins and wife Beth; granddaughter, Tabitha Mase and husband Michael; great grandchildren, Keenan James, Kaylen and Kyler Mase, Caleb, Sydney, Zoe, and Emelyn Collins; brother-in-law, Glenmore Weaver; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2014 with funeral to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Jim Waddell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:45 AM, Saturday, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton for interment at 12:00 noon.
