Joyce Sweet, age 73, of Knoxville passed away January 24, 2016. She formerly worked with the Knox County Election Commission. Survived by husband of 56 years, David Sweet. Children: David (Karen) Sweet, Christopher (Amy) Sweet and Samantha (Tim) Ottinger. Grandchildren: Jayson, D.J., Andrew, Angelica, Kaylee, Denae and Christopher. Great-grandchildren: Christian, Taylor and GraceLynn. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery for graveside service at 11am, Pastor Bill Akers officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
