Joyce Karen Mcgill

Joyce "Peggy" Satterfield McGill, age 87, passed away following a brief illness while battling Alzheimer’s. She grew up in and attended schools in the Oakwood/Christenberry community. She attended Oakwood Methodist church. Peggy worked as a book keeper then as a mother. She was preceded in death by husband J. Wade McGill; brother Ryan Satterfield; sister Ione Branan. She is survived by children; Brenda(Scott)Bacon and Brad McGill, grandchildren; Logan Bacon, Lauren(Daniel)Eddy, Zak(Megan)Bacon, Max Bacon, Dylan and Meghan McGill and great grandchild Mia Belle Bacon. Thanks to all who have known and cared for Peggy especially the caregivers at Trinity Hills and Amedisys Hospice.
