Joyce G. Smith

Joyce G. Smith, aged 81, passed away September 5, 2017. She was born July 10, 1936 in Bond, KY. Joyce was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Jeopardy!, and playing bridge. She made the best banana pudding, cookies and other candy. Preceded in death by husband, G. Farrel Smith. Left to cherish her memory are children, Gary (Marilyn) Smith of Auburn, IN, Lisa (Roger) Sarasien of Waterloo, IN and Pamela Smith of Knoxville; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors of Parkwest CCU and the 3rd floor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sharon Baptist Church Building Fund. A memorial service will be held 11AM Saturday at Sharon Baptist Church, with Pastor Mark McCoig officiating. The family will visit with friends shortly before and after the service.
