Joyce Arrowood Walker

Joyce Arrowood Walker, age 83, of Knoxville, passed away February 11, 2018. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Powell and also faithfully attended Black Oak Heights Baptist Church for many years. Joyce loved her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband, Claude E. Walker; parents, Ashley & Rosa Arrowood; sisters, Opal Morgan, Juanita Skellington, Virginia Arrowood, and Dorothy Sizemore; and brothers, Bill Arrowood, Mickey Arrowood, and Ashley Arrowood Jr. Joyce is survived by son, Michael Owens and his wife Genie; daughters, Pamela Kerley and her husband Victor, Kimberly Cranford and her husband Gary, Tonya Ballinger and her husband Ty, and Bridgitte Mase and her husband James; step-sons, Tim Walker and his wife Leslie, Mark Walker and his wife Trish, and James Walker and his wife Sioni; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Jean Davis and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Tennessee or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm.
