Joy Kay Taylor

Joy Kay Taylor age 62 of Helenwood, Tennessee passed away suddenly Monday, January 4, 2021 at her home. She attended Oneida Church of God. One of her favorite pastimes was sewing with her grandchildren, doing for others, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and friend who was loved by so many. Preceded in death by parents; Claude Taylor and Edna Sparks. Son; Gary Eugene Burress, sister; Penny Kennedy, her husband; David Hibbard. Survivors; daughter and son-in-law, Aneisa and Patrick Armitage. Grandchildren; Tevin (Chelsie) Wilson, Logan (Rynn) Wilson, Lakiya (Jackson) Wilson and Tres’son Coley. Siblings; Cheryl Hill, Jerry Taylor, Janet Taylor, Judy Taylor, Jeffrey Taylor, Joetta Taylor, Jacob Taylor and Jill Taylor. Many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Oneida Church of God 1100 Paint Rock Road Oneida, Tennessee followed by a 3:00 p.m. funeral service minister Chuck Jeffers and Minister Jeff Muse officiating.
