Joseph H. Allison

Joseph “Buddy” H. Allison, Jr., age 86, of Halls, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Joseph retired from the Martin Marietta Y-12 Plant. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, the Silvertones Senior Adult Choir and the Chancel Choir. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Ruby Golden. Joseph is survived by son, Joe Allison, III and his wife Jeri Allison; grandchild Austin Meyers and his wife Bridgette; great-grandchildren, Acadia and Beck Meyers; as well as sister-in-law Carol Golden McGinnis and husband Perry McGinnis along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 11th at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, service to start at 1:00 pm with Dr. Charles Earl officiating, interment to follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Beaver Dam Baptist Church in his memory.
