Jon Edward Hankins

Jon Edward Hankins age 49 passed away at 4:06 am on November 27th 2021 due to complications from covid. Jon was born November 27th 1972 to Jon Carroll Hankins and Betty Widby Hankins. He graduated from Central High School in 1991 and received a BS and MBA from the University of Tennessee. Jon met the love of his life Terri Nazerias Hankins while working at Olive Garden. They married and had three beautiful children Ethan Zane, Hannah Lynn and Blake Joshua. Even though Jon's body was not restored while still with his loving family on earth, God is good in all things and we believe Jon’s life and body have been restored in heaven. Jon is proceeded in death by his father Jon Carroll Hankins. Jon leaves behind wife Terri Lynn Nazerias Hankins. Children Ethan Zane, Hannah Lynn, and Blake Joshua. Mother Betty Widby Hankins Sister Jamee (Scott) Hamilton and Brother Jason Hankins. The family would like to personally thank the staff of CCU Parkwest hospital especially Pennye, Michelle, Ryan, Heather, Kristen, Kaycie, Shelby, Whitney, Jade, Brittney, Eddie, Collin, Jim, Miranda, Jordan, Tucker, Abby, Crystal, Dr. Spencer Pugh, Dr Todd Justice, and Dr. Nick Panella, for their hard work and dedication to Jon's care. You have been angels on earth and we can never repay your kindness during our time of grief. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 12th from 3 to 5pm with a short Celebration of Life Service to follow Rev. Brian Fields at Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City 2829 Rennoc Road Knoxville, Tn 37918.
