Johnny Ray Collins

Johnny Ray Collins (Scooby Doo), age 59 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord January 1, 2021. He was a beloved Daddy and Pap, and a blessing to all who knew him. A member and trustee of Dante Baptist Church; and a simple, country man who was always joking and happy. Johnny was a truck driver, and enjoyed hunting, guns, and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by father and mother Corum Edward Collins and Jewell Johnson Collins, brother; Roy Collins, sister; Nancy Keck (Jimmy), and Pastor Brother Phillip Murphy, Sr. He leaves behind his sister; Robin Delph (Bill), daughters; April Collins and Sabrina Shipley (Mark), son; James Collins (Kelly), granddaughter; Asia Rodgers, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Dante Baptist Church, Rev. Lee Murphy officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 AM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Friday, January 8, 2021 to proceed to Collins Cemetery for a 11:00 AM interment.
