Johnny Mack Hood

Johnny Mack Hood, age 70, of South Knoxville, passed away Thursday October 25, 2018 with his family at his side. He was a devout Christian and member of Community Baptist Church. Survived by son Jason (Pam) Hood; daughter Wendy (Matt) Hancock; grandchild Mattison Hancock; sisters, Ella Mae Hood and Alice Faye Thurman; nephew Johnny Hood; niece Debbie Thurman; special friends Wayne Cooper, Dolly Foster; faithful companion and friend, his dog Daisy. The family will receive friends 10-11AM Saturday at Meridian Baptist Church, funeral service to follow at 11AM, Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Meridian Baptist Church Cemetery.
