Johnny Fairl Leach

Johnny Fairl Leach, age 92, of Heiskell, Tennessee, left his earthly home Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his home.  Born November 9, 1932 in Claiborne County, Tennessee.  He was the son of the late Casper and Emma Leach. 

John loved his family.  He also loved being productive.  To say John was a hard-working man is an understatement; He worked at Southeast Precast for 43 years.  His titles there were everything from Laborer, Shop Foreman and his last position there was Superintendent.  All of which required dedication and hard work.  However, his most passionate work was farming.  He farmed his entire life.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 1978; son, Johnny Wayne Leach; daughter, Rita Leach Clark; siblings, Charlotte Russell, Wanda Barnes, Reba Medley, and Clayetta Graves.

John leaves behind his loving companion, Shirley Mae Schooley; brother, Pete Leach; grandsons, Brent and Derrick Hill; great grandsons, Houston, Hayden and Adrian Hill.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.  Dearly loved, John will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel from 6:00pm-8:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 8:00pm with Ronald Lambert officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in the name of Johnny F. Leach.
