Johnnie Berl Clark, age 74, of Knoxville passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Johnnie traveled many places during his life being a retiree of the Navy for 23 ½ years, and also the post office. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and had a passion for cars. Johnnie is preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Ray Clark; mother, Ruby Coverstone Clark; father, Berl Eugene Clark; brother, Lloyd Lee Clark; and sister, Lois Schwengel. He is survived by his wife, of 52 years Karen Clark; sons, Todd (Gerri) Clark and Mark Eugene Clark; grandchildren, John (Amanda) Clark and Karen (Giles) Decker; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Rowan, Cole Decker; and loyal dog, Gus. Family will receive friends 10:00am-12:00pm Monday, November 8, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, service to follow, with procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00pm graveside service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Ben Clark memorial scholarship endowment at Tennessee Tech University.
