John Wight Haworth

John Wight Haworth, age 83, passed away on June 17, 2020. He was a lifelong resident of the Fountain City area and a member of Fountain City Church. John was a truckdriver for over 47 years, retiring for the second time at age 75. Preceded in death by wife Barbara Haworth, parents Marshall and Mary Haworth, brother David Haworth and niece Addie Unuvar. Survived by daughter Tracey (Ray) Jones; son David Haworth-King; grandchildren Sierra and Caden Jones; sisters: Mary Margaret Simpson and Rose Ellen Varner; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Alan and Karen Buckner; special nephew Chris Davenport along with several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 5-7 pm in the parlors of Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City with a graveside to be held on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 2 pm in Old Mount Tabor Cemetery.
