John R. Jones

John Rufus Jones, age 92, passed away January 20, 2014. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in World War II and was an active member of the Republican Party. Preceded in death by parents, Sara and Tommy Jones and many other loved ones. Survived by daughters, Jonene Sarah Manning, Michleen Wanda Jones; sons, Bobby Ray Jones, Farwick Paul Jones; grandchildren, Piper Elise Manning, Sterling and Natasha Jones. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow. Family and friends will meet 11:15 am Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier, for 11:00 am interment.
