John Eugene Morrisey

John Eugene Morrisey, 59, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on November 10, 2023. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged. John was preceded in death by his father Colonel C. Edmund Morrisey and mother, Eleanor Morrisey. John is survived by his son, Jordan Morrisey and wife Anastasia; his granddaughters Amya and Ava; son Zachary Morrisey and girlfriend Lexus Brown; grandson Jaxson; stepmother Pauline Kimsey Morrisey and many other relatives. John spent most of his life as a painter. John had many hobbies including collecting blue china and coins. He enjoyed playing golf, pool and listening to music.
A funeral service will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 5 PM to 7 PM. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 12:15pm for a 12:30pm Graveside Service.
