John Dale Meredith

John “Dale” Meredith, age 69, of Corryton, TN went to be with the lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. He was a member of Son Light Baptist Church.

 He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Meredith; mother, Elizabeth Meredith; and grandmother, Beulah Carson. 

Dale is survived by wife of 35 years, Debbie Meredith; children, Traci Forsyth (Tim), Julie Meredith (Beth) and John Meredith; step-children, Michelle (Doyle) Coggins and Bridget Baker; siblings, Sue Ann (Dan) Barker and Jim (Tracy) Meredith; 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Son Light Baptist Church from 5:00-7:00pm with a 7:00pm service to follow with Rev. Eddie Myers and assistant, Pastor Jeremiah Dixon officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45am on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 10:00am graveside service.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Mitchell Martin and Tennessee Cancer Specialist for their excellent care.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
