John Matthew Mize

John Matthew Mize, age 42, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 12:15 PM. He was a member of Greenway Baptist Church and a former employee of Moore Freight Company. He was preceded in death by grandparents Glen and Geneva Seiber, William and Mary Mize, and Cathleen Burrell, aunt Margie Seiber, and step-father Henry Harrington. Survivors include mother Helen Harrington, father and step-mother Pope and Marie Mize, sister and brother-in-law Gina and Brian Hunt, and their family Corey, Chelsea, Kensley, Cody, Ari, and Kylie Hunt, sister and brother-in-law Angie and Tony Tharp, and their family Michael, Mallory, Malachi, and Mabrey Caldwell, and Brittney Caldwell, and Brandi and Bryan Smart, and Aaron Tharp, sister Joanna Mize, brothers and sisters-in-law Andy and Caroline Mize, and Grant and Amy Mize, and their children Bailey and Summer Mize, uncle Bill Seiber, cousins Robert, Tabitha, Makyla, and Brady, uncle Tommy Seiber, cousins Shane, Shannon, Cole and Tanley Seiber, and Wendy, Mark, and Erica Newland, uncle and aunt Randy and Melanie Seiber, cousin Jake Seiber, very close friend Genie Squire, great aunt and uncle Juanita and Jack Hickman and their family, as well as several other family and friends. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery for graveside services at 11 AM with Rev. Wayne Lay officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
