John Henry Conner

John H. Conner, age 81, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was a member of the Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, John and Glennie Mae Conner, and sister Barbara (Bobbie). Survivors include his wife Ann Maynard Conner, daughters Rebecca Cook and Laurie (Sonny) Harless, sons Wayne (Christi) Conner and Randy “Byrd” (Cherrie) Conner. Grandchildren Brian, Stephanie, Cheryl and Maddison Conner, Amber (Jeremy) Ferrell, Johnathan Vandergriff, Matthew (Kenya) Cook, Keith (Vanessa) Cook, Danielle (Steven) Davis. Great-grandchildren Kelsey, Lane, Dagean, Bryson, Tanner, Haley Elizabeth, Jamison, Chelsey, Haley, Braden and Caroline. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City with Rev. Steve Ross officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM Tuesday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment at 10 AM. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
