John Franklin Goosie

John Franklin Goosie, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 2, 2024. John loved to live life to the fullest every chance he got. He would have a heart to heart with anyone at any time and truly never met a stranger. John always tried to be a peacekeeper and a protector to those he cared about. He loved his family and friends, riding motorcycles, being in water of any kind and mastering new hobbies. He was also passionate about cooking for his family. John is preceded in death by his aunt, Pat Goosie, and uncle, Joe Goosie. He is survived by his loves, Ruby Goosie and Raquel Welsh; his children, Mariah, Madison, Aiden and Chloe; his parents, Bill and Linda Goosie; siblings, Kristina Aboush and David Goosie; honorary family, Courtney Cecelia, Cody Wilson, Jeremy Feucht, Gary Sizzle Goddard, Scott Floyd, Ben Evans, Absolom Ridgeway, Nick Nicely, Bradley Bryant and Ryan Karulski; and ex-wife, Brittany Goosie. Family will be receiving friends at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel 4131 E. Emory Rd Knoxville, TN 37938 on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00 pm.
