John Edward Zachary

Zachary, John Edward (Edd), 72, born on June 5,1949 and passed on November 5, 2021. Edd was a good Christian man and a friend to many. He was also a loving husband and father. Edd was the owner of Zachary Heat and Air Service and was always ready and willing to help others in need. He was a member of Buffat Heights Baptist Church and most recently attended Clear Springs Baptist Church in Corryton. Edd was preceded in death by parents, Claxton and Reva Zachary, grandmother, Stella Zachary Skeen, sister-in-law Judy Idol, and brother-in-law Donald Parkhurst. His survivors are wife of 44 ½ years, Karen Idol Zachary, Children: Kristi Zachary Trudo (Dan), Heather Zachary Faulkner (Dustin), Austin Zachary, and Halli Zachary. Grandchildren: Wedge Logsdon (Zoe), great grandson Lucas, Drew Phipps (Makayla), great granddaughter Isabella, Cloe, Claxton and Cooper Faulkner. Brothers: Rick (Virginia) Zachary and Stan (Melissa) Zachary. He also leaves sisters-in-law and spouses: Eugenia (Earl) Hoskins, Vickie (David) Mahan, Sharon Parkhurst, and Rebecca (Chris) Kirk. Brother-in-law and spouse: Chris (Laura) Idol. He was also loved by 22 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, from 5-7 pm with service immediately following at 7 pm on Saturday, November 13th, 2021. Dr. Damon Patterson officiating.
