John David Ayres

John David Ayres, IV, age 49 of Knoxville, formerly of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away suddenly, Monday, December 1, 2021. He was employed by First Horizon Bank. John was an avid cartoonist and enjoyed drawing characters and scenes. He was preceded in death by his father, John David Ayres, III. John is survived by his loving mother, Jo Anne Priest Ayres of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and brother Noel Ayres; aunts and uncles, Hannah McCarthy, Ann and Ron Dolch, Bill and Margaret Ayres and Emily Smith; several cousins and other family. Visitation from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday, December 6, 2021 with a celebration of John’s life held 6:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with Dr. Chris Stanfield officiating.
