John Michael Curley, Jr.

John Michael Curley, Jr., age 59, of Halls, (Knoxville), went on to a better place on June 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Church; aunt, Laurie Church and grandfather, Jack. John is survived by both parents, John Curley, Sr. and Linda Newcomb; sister, Jackie Fox; his three children, Adrian Curley, Maria Curley and John Curley, III; twelve grandchildren. John spent most of his life on the water, and as a young adult, he filled this passion with a career working on boats for Searay and Bayliner. John became a dedicated father and family man, who loved to be surrounded in the love and happiness that his grandchildren brought to him. Those who wish to gather in John’s memory are welcome to join his family for a celebration of life ceremony at Black Fox Bridge Access Point on Norris Lake, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 starting at 7:30 PM. A lantern release will be conducted at 9:00 PM. The family ask that guests kindly attend the service in casual fashion.
