John C. "Bunny" Jones

John C. “Bunny” Jones, Jr., age 57, passed away January 12, 2017. He was of the Baptist faith and fondly known as “Uncle Bunny” to his many nieces and nephews. “Bunny” was preceded in death by father John C. Jones, Sr. and mother Jean Jones. Survivors include sisters Janice Jones, Donna Baker and husband Nelson, and Lynn Atchley and husband Garry, special friend Jewel Johnson, as well as several nieces and nephews and many, many great nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a memorial at 8 pm Tuesday Bearden Gospel Baptist Church, 5717 Walden Dr, Knoxville, TN 37919. They will be available to receive friends at the church prior to the memorial from 6 pm to 8 pm. Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel will be in charge of a graveside service being held 1 pm Thursday at New Gray Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at New Gray at 12:45 pm and Rev.
