John Arthur Barr

John "Buddy" Barr, age 69, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017. He was a Fulton High School graduate, a United States Army Veteran, and retired from the I.B.E.W., Local760 after 30 years of service. Buddy was of the Presbyterian faith, a master woodworking craftsman, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and cousin Gary Hoskins. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna Barr, children, Brandie (Robert) Artrip and Adam Barr, special "granddaughter" Trista Burger, and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, January 28th, 2017. Pastor Zachary McGill will be officiating.
