John A. Allred Sr. age 73 of Corryton started the new year in his heavenly home. Johnny served the Lord with his whole heart. His Lord was first in his life and he was proud to tell anyone about the Lord. Preceded in death by parents; Milton and Ada Allred, father-in-law; Troy Bowling, mother-in-law; Bonnie Bowling and granddaughter, Tobi Hanson. Those left to carry on; his wife of 46 years, Sue. His children, John and Diane Allred, Missie and Mike Childress, Tonya Sharp and Marty Sharp. Grandchildren; Ethan Allred, Noah Cannon, Michael and Tiffany Childress, Curtis and Taylor Childress and Cody Sharp. The joys of his life great grandchildren, Raiden, Deakon and Letti Sharp, Lily and Amelia Childress, and Kenley Hanson. And a world of thanks to his friends that were there for him; Steve, John, Fred and Grant. “Thanks so much”. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service Rev. Gerald McGinnis and Rev. John Lawson officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City to leave in procession for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service at Union Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Union County with full military honors by the Tri County Honor Guard.
