Joe Thomas Funderburk

Joe Thomas Funderburk, age 69, passed away September 23, 2017 after a long illness. He was born on March 25, 1948 in Charlotte, North Carolina and was currently residing in Knoxville, Tennessee and employed by Beverly Steel for the past 15 years. Joe enjoyed outdoor activities and visiting Cade’s Cove with friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Kenny Funderburk; son, Kip Funderburk. He is survived by his mother, Clarice Funderburk, of Indian Trail, NC; son, Adrian Funderburk, of Colorado; sisters, Linda Williams (Larry), of Indian Trail, NC, and Cindy Starnes, all of Matthews, NC; nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Brenda. Many thanks to Brenda for all she has done. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10am, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with Rev. Larry Brannon officiating.
