Joe Michael Knox

Joe “Mike” Knox, age 57, passed away on October 9, 2012 following a brave battle with cancer. He was a member of First Baptist Concord Church. He loved his motorcycle and is now riding on the clouds with Jesus. Preceded in death by father Bill Knox. Survived by wife Kathy Knox of 3 years; step-daughter Nicole McMillan; step-son Michael (Dawn) Hatmaker; son Derek Knox; sisters Kim (Tony) Hale and Kristi (Brian) Wilkerson; mother Ann Knox; grandsons Brandon, Riley and Aidan Hatmaker. Special thanks to his caretakers, Louise Martin McKinney, Tracy Martin, and Susan Kegley. The family will receive friends 2:00 – 3:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with memorial service to follow. Elder Bill Berry and Rev. Doug Fielden officiating.
