Joe Edwin Mathis

Joe Edwin Mathis age 72, of the Hardin Valley Community passed away 11:24 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the family home. Member of Grassy Valley Baptist Church, U. S. Air Force Veteran and an avid trout fisherman. Survivors; wife, Margaret (Cable) Mathis. Daughter; Amantha Morris (Jeffery Morris), Sons; Allen Herron (Debra Herron), Dwayne Herron (Drey Herron), Calvin Herron (Teresa Herron). Grandchildren; Shannon Perez, Monica Savage, Jessie Morris, Ben Morris, Jennifer Herron, David Herron, Chelsea Herron, Noah Herron. Great grandchildren; Alex Savage, Allison Savage, Ryan Perez, Lillie Lawson, Quentin Lawson, Ethan Herron, Brylee Herron, Keelon Morris, Ronan Morris. Sister; Johnnie Marie Davis, Brother; Jimmy Ray Mathis, as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life service at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the family home.
