Jimmy R. Anderson

Jimmy R. Anderson Sr., age 77, of Knoxville, died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, 06th February, at home surrounded by his family. He retired after 45 years of service from Star Construction Company. He is preceded in death by: parents James W. and Thelma Sharp Anderson, infant sister, and father-in-law Rev. Clyde A. Helton He is survived by: loving wife of 58 years, Ethel Helton Anderson, daughter and son-in-law Janet S. and Gene Earl, son Jimmy R. Anderson Jr., sister Brenda G. Anderson, grandson William Ross Earl, granddaughter, Claire M. Earl, and all of Knoxville. He also leaves his loving and faithful dog, Mia, and joins his former beloved dogs, Lady, Princess, and Jonah. Friends and family will meet at 11:45 on Thursday, February 9th, 2023, at Fairview Baptist Church for a 12pm graveside service, officiated by Rev. Quentin Elkins.
