Jimmie Ray Morgan, age 67, of Knoxville, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016. Mr. Morgan was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, former owner of Morgan’s Bodyshop and Auto Sales, and past-president of the Smoky Mountain Classic Chevy Club. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Ruby Morgan, 4 siblings, and granddaughter, Meghan Farmer. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 40 years, Joyce Morgan, sons, David Farmer, and wife Shamra, Jeffrey Farmer, and wife Debbie, daughter, Leann Harrel, and husband Terry, 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21st, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Charles Reynolds will be officiating. Friends and family will meet at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, May 23rd, 2016 for a 1:30 p.m. committal service with military honors at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway.
