Jill Southers

Jill Mahaffey Southers, age 54, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at UT Medical Center. She is now at peace with her loved ones. She graduated Halls High School, Pellissippi State, and worked as a paralegal. Jill is preceded in death by 1 son, Justin Southers: parents, Don and Reed Mahaffey; twin sister, Jan Mahaffey; brother, Eric Mahaffey; aunts, Judy Wilson and Carol Baumann. Jill is survived by loving son, Austin Southers and wife Chassity; bonus children, Bubba Jeffries and fiancé Savannah Widby, and Tiffany Jeffries; aunt, Jan Thompson; other survivors include a multitude of family and friends who loved her. Graveside service will be held for close family and friends as Woodlawn Cemetery. Her book will be available to sign at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
