Jewel Jean Claiborne

Jewel Claiborne finished her journey on earth to continue in heaven on July 14th. She was a devoted mother and friend to many. Preceded in death by her parents Everette and Maggie Brantley, brother Paul Brantley, children Christopher and Mark Claiborne, and grandchild Scotty Claiborne. She is Survived by the father of her children Paul Claiborne, daughters and sons-in-law Pam and Mark Lawson, and Candus Claiborne and Timothy Gumm, sons and daughters-in-law Timothy and Donna Claiborne, James Scott Claiborne, Janet Claiborne, and Matt and Shirley Claiborne, beloved grandchildren Tim Jr. and Sarah Claiborne, Emily and Olivia Lawson, Molly Claiborne, Elijah and Abigail Gumm, and Noah and Isaiah Claiborne, expected great-grandchildren Payton Douglas Gumm and Oliver Mark Allen Bauer, very special sister Carolyn Gaut, several dear nieces, nephews and cousins, and very special friends Frances, Beverly, Patty, Sherry, Glenda, David, Betty, and Wanda. Special thanks to staff at Physicians Regional Medical Center ER, Tower 3, ICU, and 3rd central and staff at Norris Health and Rehab Center. Pallbearers are Elijah Gumm, Tim Claiborne Jr., Noah and Isaiah Claiborne, George Dees, Randy Gaut, and Colby Rogers. Friends and family will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel at 10:15am Monday to proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11am graveside service, Jacob Brooks officiating.
