Jewel Ault, age 91, of Knoxville, passed away August 5, 2016 at NHC of Knoxville. She was a member of Inskip Baptist Church. Jewel was a devoted mother, wife, and homemaker. She was also a member of the Order of the Amaranth, achieving the position of Royal Matron. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Ault, son Tommy Ault, parents Vernie and Sherman Myers, and brothers J.D. Myers, Gordon Myers, Clarence Myers, Albert Myers, Willard Myers. Survivors include daughters Evelyn Stooksbury and Linda Heatherly and husband Jeff, grandchildren Barry Stooksbury and wife Cindi, Chris Stooksbury, Nanette Foster, Justin Heatherly and wife Anna, and Tiffani Heatherly and fiancé Robby, great-grandchildren Autumn Stooksbury, Cody Stooksbury and wife Becca, Eli Heatherly, and Weston Golden, great great grandchild Benson Stooksbury, brothers Curtis Myers and Vonnie Myers, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Jewel’s caregivers, including the 3rd floor staff at Tennova Physicians Regional, the 3rd floor rehab at NHC of Knoxville, and special caregiver Polly Cardwell. Funeral service will be 7pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with Rev. Mike Segers officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am Wednesday at Lenoir City Cemetery for 11am interment.
