Jerry Thomas O'Shell

Jerry Thomas O’Shell, age 69 of Knoxville, TN passed February 27, 2022. He was a retired Masoner and an Army veteran. Jerry was an avid fan of dirt track races. A huge fan of the Dayton Flyers basketball team. He also loved fishing and camping outside under the stars. He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Dean O’Shell; sister, Barbara Sue Purdom. Survived by his wife, Pamela O’Shell; children, Christopher O’Shell (Michelle); Logan O’Shell (Andrea), Molly Anderson (Jason) and Thomas O’Shell; siblings, Michael Dean O’Shell (Lois), Diane Feeser (Tim), Douglas Lynn O’Shell (Sandra); grandchildren, Michaela, Quinn, Tobin, Evan, Haley, Addlynn and several aunts, nieces and nephews; Devoted cousin Sherry O’Shell who remained stedfast by Jerry’s side until the end of his life; lifelong friends, Rick and Julie Baughn and Mary Hirsh. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 pm on Monday, March 7th at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 2:00pm service officiated by Dr. Jerry Taylor. Full military honors will be provided by the Tri County Honor Guard. Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel is honored to serve the O’Shell family.
