Jerry "Sarge" Julian

Jerry “Sarge” Julian, age 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018. He was in a United States Army Veteran and served his country for 26 years, A member of the American Legion, and retired from the Concord Telephone Company after 20 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by parents Butler and Stacy Julian, and all of his siblings. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Barbara “Babs” Julian, daughter Julie Buckner, and husband Johnny, grandchildren Alissa and Liam Travis, great-granddaughter Malorie Tudor, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 5th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. The family will meet at 11:15 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. committal service on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Gov.
