Jerry Frank Wright

Jerry Frank Wright Sr., age 69 of Crossville, passed away February 25, 2022. He was a member of Crossville First United Methodist Church and proudly served in the United States Army. Jerry was the owner and operator of Homestead Barber Shop for over 20 years and a Master Barber in Central Florida since 1979. He was a loving father and grandpa, who enjoyed traveling to Florida and to Pigeon Forge. Preceded in death by mother, Evaleena Wright; father, Frank Wright; former wife and mother of his children, Susan Lorell Ryder. Survived by daughter Sheryl (Regan) Cornelius, son Jerry (Kayla) Wright Jr., grandchildren Philip Regan Cornelius and Noah Kendrick Cornelius, siblings Ray, Mollie, Judy, Jack, and Shirley. Friends may call at their convenience 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet by 12:15 PM Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the East Tennessee State Veterans’ Cemetery (Gov. John Sevier Hwy) for a 12:30 PM Interment service with full military honors presented by Tri State Honor Guard.
