Jeffrey Wayne Lewis

Jeffery Wayne Lewis, age 60 went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 7, 2021. He was a member of Lyons Creek Baptist Church. He was retired, but had previously worked at Caremax Durable Medical Equipment. He was an avid University of Tennessee Sports enthusiast. He graduated from Carter High School in 1978 playing baseball and excelled at football, where he went on to play at Carson Newman College. He was an avid Seals and Croft and Glenn Campbell fan. He loved hearing the mandolin being played. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Mary Katherine Webb, step-father James Webb, father Wayne Lewis and sister Wendy King. He is survived by his wife Becky Swaggerty, his children Kolby Lewis, Margaret Eakes (Ben), Madison Lewis, McKenzie Lewis, his two sisters, Lee Ann Wright (Sam) and Kelly Burbage (Winston), his brother Lee Wayne Lewis (Sandy) and grandchildren, Kolton Lewis, Olivia, Amelia and Silas Eakes, John Whittaker, Sawyer Moss, Kiley Morton, several nieces, nephews and Jamie Swaggerty, and special friend Shelly Ballinger. The family is holding burial on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Asbury Cemetery with Rev. Tim Fawver and Rev. Doug Parnell officiating.
