Jean Swicegood Hamby

Wilma Jean Swicegood Hamby, born in Crab Orchard, TN July 27, 1926, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90 on September 9, 2016. She was a 43 year member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Preceded in death by her parents William and Mae Swicegood of Harriman, Tennessee; sisters Iva Green of Jacksonville, Florida, Bernice Watson of Westel, Tennessee, and Mildred Harvey of Harriman, Tennessee; brothers Carl Swicegood of Jellico, Tennessee and Ray Swicegood of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is survived by children Roger Hamby and wife Nenita of Lynnwood, Washington, Ronald Hamby and wife Salome of Frisco, Texas, Teresa Torok and husband Michael of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Randy Hamby and wife Brenda of Wartburg, Tennessee; grandchildren Elisa Messina and Benita Hamby of Knoxville, Tennessee, Robert Hamby of Rockwood, Tennessee, Jennifer Fiaschetti of Frisco, Texas, Angela Michaelis of Frisco, Texas, Sean Hamby of Seattle, Washington, and Rebekah Woods of Federal Way, Washington; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-granddaughters.
