Jean Hood

Jean Hood, age 92, passed away on October 11, 2021. She enjoyed spending time gardening and drinking coffee. Preceded in death by her husband, James Tate Hood, and her parents, Lloyd (Roxie) Hamby. Survived by her sons, Jimmy Ray (Sheryl) Hicks, Gerald Wayne (Joyce) Hicks and Gary Lynn (Donna) Hicks; daughters, Janie (Norm) Phipps and Vickie (Gary) Hood-Wells; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 10:30am to 12:00pm with a service to follow at 12:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with a procession to follow to Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00pm graveside service, Steven Doyle officiating.
