Jean Hepler

Jean Hepler, age 72, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016. She was a life long active member of Atlantic Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, American Legion, VFW, DAV, and VVA and will be missed by many. She was a generous loving woman donating time and materials with handmade crochet and knit blankets, clothing, and stuffed animals to various charities and fundraiser organizations. Preceded in death by sons, Ronald, Michael, and David; sisters, Nelly and Betty. Survived by loving husband, Edward Earle Hepler, Sr.; children, Becky, Jenny, Arthella, John, James, Judy, Patty, Janet, Cyndi, Sonja, Ed, Jr., and Jeff; 43 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, George. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 871 N. Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 6:00 pm Thursday at Atlantic Avenue Missionary Baptist Church with funeral service to follow, Pastor Eddie Seals officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:15 am Monday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway, for 11:30 am inurnment. Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
