JD Chapman

JD Chapman age 88, of Luttrell, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church Sharps Chapel. In his spare time, you could find JD fishing or tinkering anything with an engine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Clara Chapman, sister, Shirley Gass, niece, Robin and nephew, Alan. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia Henderson Chapman, children: Randy (Ginger) Chapman, Jeff (Susan) Chapman, and Chris (Kristy) Flatford; grandchildren: Maegan (Matthew) Lay, Drew Chapman, Savannah (Jake) Munsey, Sydney Chapman, Hannah Flatford, Holly Chapman, and Leah Flatford; great-grandchildren: Brinnley Munsey, Merrick Lay, Maelynn Lay, and Layne Munsey; and brother-in-law, Wayne (Jody) Henderson. The family will receive friends Friday, November 22, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:45 am at Luttrell Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service with Rev. Randy Moore and Rev. Wayne Henderson officiating.
