J.C. Wells

J.C. Wells, of Halls Crossroads, passed away on May 9, 2021. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Lon and Annabelle wells; brother-in-law Edward Stokes; mother and father-in-law Lillard and Beulah Stokes. Survived by loving wife of 56 years Ann Wells; children Randall and wife Christy Wells, Chris Wells (Kim Powell and daughter Rosetta Powell) and precious grandson Landan Wells; sister Imogene and husband Charlie Haynes; brother-in-law Allen Stokes and wife Janice; sister-in-law Scarlett Stokes; niece Rhonda and husband Steve Widner; nephew Keith and wife Karen Haynes; special friends Lowell and Carolyn Burkhart, Truman and Shirley Sweet, and Chuck and Sandy Griffin. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow at 7:00pm, Dr. James Robertson and Rev. Mark McCoig officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45am Friday, May 14, 2021, at Norris Memorial Gardens for a 10:00am interment. Pallbearers: Steve Widner, Horace Hunley, Chuck Griffin, Truman Sweet, Chris Wells, and Randall Wells. Honorary pallbearers: Keith Haynes and Landan Wells.
