Jason Shawn Sweet

Jason Shawn Sweet, age 41, of Maynardville, went to live with his Lord and Savior on December 5, 2017. He was a member and deacon of Sidebrook Baptist Church. Jason was a wonderful husband, son, brother and friend to all. Preceded in death by second dad, Gilbert Brock; grandparents, and special aunt. He is survived by loving wife of 23 years, Wendy Sweet; father, Elmer (Frances) Sweet; mother, Cathy (Wayne) Bailey; second mom, Sue Brock; brothers, Travis Bailey and Ray Brock; sisters, Kathy Bailey and Charity Sweet; son (dog) Brutus; adopted children, Kayla, Jake, Riyah, Brayden, Peyton. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, December 8, 2017 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 8pm, Bros. Josh Hensley and David Cash officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 pm, Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the funeral home to go in procession to Hines Creek Cemetery for a 2:00 pm graveside.
