Jason Martin Nitzberg, age 39 of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville and Rio Revolution Church in Maryville. Throughout his life Jason enjoyed movies, music, animals, fishing, basketball, football, soccer, and sports in general. Preceded in death by mother, Anita Nitzberg; grandmother, Bobbie Bender; and grandfathers, Bobby Martin and Leonard Nitzberg. Survived by children and their mother, Brianna Baker, Chloe Nitzberg, and Bridget Baker; father, Scott Nitzberg; sisters, Miranda (Telmo) Dantes and Jessica (Joshua) Rogers; nieces and nephews, Cassen, Brody, and Lily Rogers, Maxwell and Emiliana Dantes, and Marissa Grant; grandmothers, Betty Martin and Nancy Nitzberg; cousins, Danielle Parrott and Doyle (Michelle) Coggins; uncle, Jerry (Janie) Martin; and aunts, Cheryl (Thomas) Coggins and Tracey Berry; significant other, Heather Taylor; and several other cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a 4:00 pm memorial service to follow with Rev. Brandon Benson officiating.
