Jason H. Armstrong, 42, of Knoxville, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2021. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. He was born on September 23, 1979, graduated from Central High School in 1998, and lived in Knoxville most of his life.
Following in his father's footsteps, Jason joined the IBEW Local 760 and went on to achieve his dream of being elected President of the Local, where he also served as the Union Organizer. He took pride in his work and continuously fought hard to represent the members of the union – “His guys” he would call them. He truly believed in the brotherhood and taking care of those he worked with.
Jason was a very loving husband and father who asked for nothing but gave everything. He was endlessly proud of his girls, always supporting them in everything they did. Forever committed to being a great father, he worked hard to give his family the best life he could. The love he had for his family will never be forgotten.
Anyone who knew Jason was touched by his kindness, positive outlook, and humor. He could start a conversation with anyone and would bring laughter to any room.
Jason was an avid sports enthusiast who never gave up faith in UT football, loved the Cleveland Browns despite their record, and cheered for Chase Elliot on race day. With the interest of his girls, he became a big fan of soccer and had plans of coaching in the future.
Jason will be joining many family members that have proceeded him in death, including his grandparents Edward Dean & Cora (Mays) Armstrong; Gene & Stella (Williams) Howard along with his brother Edward D Armstrong III, and his children, Edward Dean Armstrong IV and Brittany Armstrong.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kristy Pique Armstrong and children Madison, Jenna & Elijah. His father Eddie (Lana) Armstrong: Mother Barbara Howard (Bruce) Bell; in-laws Wayne & Darlene Pique; sister Amy (Chris) Gibbs; stepbrothers, Chad (Jennifer) and Brad (Lindsey) Hutchison, bother-in-law Brandon Pique and best friend Andy Young.
