Janice Lorraine Humphrey

Janice Lorraine Humphrey, born September 13, 1943 passed away June 17, 2013. She was a loving wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend; she was greatly loved by all. She was preceded in death by Jay and Rosa Carr, Janice “Peanut” Lorraine Jordon, Ricky Lee Humphrey and Randy Carr. She will be missed by husband, Billy Joe Powell; son & fiancée, Jason Powell and Amanda Norman, Randy Lee and Regina Powell, David and Ginger Powell; daughter, Karen Dorsey; brothers, Mike, Danny, Marvin, Les and Sandy Carr; sisters, Mark and Frankie Wolfe, Ron and Cindy Jones; grandchildren, Brooke Arwood, Brittany Cooper, Ronnie Jordan, Jack and Mason Powell, Latasha, Kristen, Dustin, Vennesa, Jonathon, David, Tiffany, Steven, Matt, Doug and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Chole, Holly, McKaya, Alexis, Alley, Makenzie, Baylee and Isahiah; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Amanda Norman for all the love and care that she gave. Family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with service to follow; Rev. David Cloud officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday 2pm at Greenwood Cemetery for entombment.
